Serefiye Cistern from Past to Present

This show allows visitors to experience spatial perception in three dimensions. The 10-minute display takes viewers through five main sections, providing a captivating journey through the history and water culture of Istanbul. The first part uses 3D effects to display the spatial features of the cistern, enhancing the perception of space. Subsequent sections trace Istanbul's waterways, depict historical periods of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires, and narrate the story of Istanbul's struggle for independence and the establishment of the Republic.

 

Water Civilization Istanbul

To know more about the ancient history of Istanbul with the theme of a "water city." This compelling show is available daily, with two screenings beginning at the top of each hour. The first screening features "Water Civilization Istanbul," followed by "Serefiye Cistern from Past to Present."
