The Glass Pavilion, The Glass Pavilion is an architectural masterpiece that highlights the opulence and splendor of the Ottoman Empire and is an imposing mansion that served as a venue for official parades and a relaxation place for the sultans. It comprises two halls and a glass-windowed greenhouse. The first hall, which serves as a window to the palace's exterior, is decorated with modesty compared to the main hall.
Upon entering the main hall, visitors are captivated by the grandeur of the seating group adorned with Hereke textiles. The crystal piano and crystal stool, which garner attention for their appearance rather than their sound, are a testament to the magnificence of the Ottoman Empire. The ceiling decorations of the hall feature striking animal figures, which serve to highlight the sultans' fascination with hunting.
The glass section, which lends the mansion its name, features a crystal fountain in the center also a fireplace in the glass section which is adorned with bird patterns that add an air of elegance to the surrounding area.
