How to Get There?: To get from Taksim Square to the Ataturk Cultural Center (AKM), walk towards the back of the Republic Monument in the center of the square. AKM is located on the south side of the square, directly across from Istiklal Street. You’ll easily spot the large, distinctive building of the AKM.
