Thanks to the meticulous universal conservation and restoration works of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Fener Houses are adding life to the city. During the restoration and transformation process, every detail carries the mission of preserving our heritage and passing it on to future generations.
These unique buildings have been redesigned as living spaces and exhibition galleries. Thanks to the Fener Houses, a new cultural route is being created on the coastline starting from Cibalikapı and extending to Sveti Stefan Church. This place builds bridges between the past and the present and brings together the history of Istanbul with modern art.
Located on the opposite shore of the Golden Horn, the Istanbul Art Museum contributes to this bridge with its galleries that will host contemporary art. Each of them welcomes its visitors with exhibitions consisting of original works of different artists.
