Chora Church, or Kariye Camii in Turkish, is in Edirnekapi, Istanbul. Built in the 6th century, it was originally a palace church. It’s famous for its unique architecture, mosaics, and frescoes. After the fall of Constantinople, it became a mosque. In 1945, it was declared a national monument and was used as a museum. Since 2019, it has been used as a mosque once more.
